About

The VA53230 is the radiation-hardened member of VORAGO’s VA5 family, the company’s first generation of dual-core Arm Cortex-M55 microcontrollers for space, defense and autonomous applications. It integrates 256 KB non-volatile memory, 512 KB double-word SRAM and 128 KB byte SRAM with EDAC and a scrub engine, Ethernet MAC with QoS, dual SpaceWire, quad CAN FD, and a rich mixed-signal I/O set. The VA53230 shares identical silicon, design database and fab with the radiation-tolerant VA54230, enabling drop-in compatibility across orbit classes.
