Disclaimer

This Disclaimer governs your use of KOSMOLAB SPACE (https://kosmolab.space), a B2B platform operated by KosmoLab (“we”, “us”, “the Platform”) that lets users discover and compare rocket launch windows, rideshare slots and launch service providers, and browse a marketplace of space hardware and a directory of space companies. By accessing or using the Platform you acknowledge and accept the limitations set out below. This Disclaimer should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Informational Purpose Only — No Professional Advice

All content on the Platform — including launch schedules, launch window and rideshare information, hardware listings, specifications, company profiles, articles, knowledge-base materials and any tools (such as compatibility checkers, configurators or estimators) — is provided for general information and discovery purposes only.

Nothing on the Platform constitutes, or is a substitute for, professional advice. In particular, the Platform does not provide:

  • Legal or regulatory advice — including on licensing, frequency/spectrum coordination, orbital debris, insurance or national space law;
  • Export-control or sanctions advice — including on ITAR, EAR, EU dual-use or any national regime;
  • Engineering or technical advice — including on payload integration, structural, thermal or electrical compatibility, or mission assurance;
  • Financial, tax, insurance or investment advice.

You should obtain independent, qualified professional advice before making any decision or entering into any commitment based on information found on the Platform. Any reliance you place on Platform content is strictly at your own risk.

2. Accuracy of Launch and Listing Data

A core function of the Platform is to aggregate data from third-party sources. Launch schedule and mission data is drawn from external providers — including The Space Devs “Launch Library 2” API — and from launch service providers themselves. Hardware listings, specifications, availability and company information are supplied by third-party manufacturers, providers and vendors (“Vendors”).

Because this information originates outside our control, it may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, estimated, delayed, or changed or withdrawn without notice. We do not independently author, audit or guarantee it.

Launch dates are provisional

Launch dates are inherently uncertain. Dates shown as “NET” (No Earlier Than), “TBD”, “TBC” or similar are provisional targets, not commitments. Launches are routinely delayed, re-manifested, rescheduled or cancelled due to weather, technical, range, regulatory, commercial or other factors. Slot availability, payload capacity, orbital parameters and pricing can change at any time and must be confirmed directly with the relevant provider.

You must independently verify all launch, mission, hardware and commercial data directly with the relevant Vendor before relying on it for any planning, procurement, contractual or operational purpose.

3. No Endorsement, Certification or Guarantee

The presence of any launch provider, manufacturer, product, subsystem, deployer, component, ground equipment item or company on the Platform is provided for discovery purposes only. It does not constitute, and must not be interpreted as, an endorsement, recommendation, certification, approval, ranking or guarantee by us of:

  • the quality, safety, performance, flight-heritage or reliability of any product or service;
  • the technical capability, capacity, schedule or availability of any provider;
  • the accuracy of any Vendor claim, specification, price or representation;
  • the legal standing, licensing, solvency, identity or good conduct of any Vendor or company.

We do not own, hold, inspect, test, manufacture, launch or sell any of the hardware or launch services listed, and we are not an agent of any Vendor.

Verification badges

Any “verified”, onboarding or status indicators (including badges or chips such as those identifying space companies) reflect only an internal listing or onboarding status at a point in time. They are not a warranty, certification, audit outcome, or guarantee of a Vendor’s identity, claims, quality, capability, compliance or trustworthiness, and should not be relied upon as such.

4. Neutral Intermediary — Not a Party to Transactions

KOSMOLAB SPACE operates on a lead-generation / request-for-quote (RFQ) model and acts as a neutral intermediary and discovery service only. We facilitate introductions between Clients and Vendors; we do not negotiate, broker, guarantee, underwrite or take commission on any contract, sale, launch agreement or other transaction.

  • No payments are processed on the Platform. All pricing, terms and contracts are agreed directly between the parties, off-platform.
  • We are not a party to any agreement between a Client and a Vendor, and we accept no responsibility or liability for the performance, non-performance, quality, safety, delivery, timing or legality of any product, service or transaction.
  • We do not, and cannot, verify every claim, credential or representation made by users. Conducting your own due diligence is your responsibility.

Your due diligence

Before contacting, engaging or contracting with any Vendor, you should independently verify their identity, credentials, licences, financial standing, technical capability and the accuracy of any information they provide, and satisfy yourself as to the suitability of any product or service for your mission.

5. Export Control, Sanctions and Regulatory Compliance

Space launch services and spaceflight hardware are subject to strict export-control, customs and sanctions laws — including, without limitation, the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the EU dual-use regime, and other national and international regimes.

Compliance is solely and entirely the responsibility of the users (Clients and Vendors). The Platform merely facilitates discovery and introductions and is not an exporter, re-exporter, importer, broker, freight forwarder, customs agent or legal/compliance adviser.

  • You are responsible for determining the export-control classification of, and obtaining any licences, authorisations or exemptions required for, any item, technical data or service you discuss, transfer, receive or transact.
  • You are responsible for screening counterparties against applicable sanctions, denied-party and embargo lists.
  • You must not use the Platform to facilitate any transaction that would breach applicable export-control or sanctions law.

The display of any item or provider on the Platform does not imply that it is lawful to export, import or transfer in or to your jurisdiction.

6. Third-Party Links and Content

The Platform contains content supplied by third parties and links to external websites (including Vendor sites, data sources and APIs). These are provided for convenience only. We do not control, monitor, endorse or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, availability, security or practices of any third-party source or website. Accessing third-party content or sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and policies.

7. “As Is” and “As Available”

The Platform and all content and tools on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including (to the fullest extent permitted by law) any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Platform will be secure, available at any particular time, or free of errors, viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage — including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or loss of profit, revenue, data, contracts or opportunity — arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Platform, reliance on any content, or any dealing or transaction with a Vendor or other user.

This section is a summary only. Your use of the Platform is governed in full by the limitation-of-liability and indemnity provisions of our Terms of Service, which prevail in the event of any conflict. Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Governing Law

This Disclaimer and any dispute arising from it are governed by the laws of the operator’s jurisdiction (to be confirmed prior to launch), and the courts of the operator’s jurisdiction (to be confirmed prior to launch) shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or other protections available to you under the law of your place of residence. The Platform is operated by to be confirmed prior to commercial launch, to be confirmed prior to commercial launch.
