About
The Small Size GEO Satellite is a telecommunication satellite platform capable of accommodating a wide range of commercial payloads and missions, from TV broadcasting to multimedia applications, internet access, and mobile or fixed services across a wide range of frequency bands (Ka, Ku, X, C, S, L, UHF or other) with encrypted satellite access. Its modular and flexible design, resizable to a 0.5-2 ton system capacity (advertised range extends up to 3 tons), targets commercial telecommunication missions with reduced satellite CAPEX, short integration time and faster delivery, high-throughput system (HTS) capability, and a flexible software-defined payload option. The platform supports full electric propulsion and multi-launch configurations including stacked and rideshare launches on Ariane 6, Falcon 9, Blue Origin, Proton and Soyuz. It is marketed jointly through Turkish Aerospace’s GSATCOM joint-venture company.
