About
The GOKTURK-3 Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Earth Observation Satellite System is designed to image any region of Earth at sub-meter resolution, independent of day/night conditions and weather. The program addresses SAR satellite imagery requirements of the Turkish Armed Forces while also supporting civil institution needs. The project is executed under the prime contractorship of Turkish Aerospace (TUSAS), with ASELSAN and TUBITAK UZAY as main subcontractors. Scope covers development of the satellite, fixed and portable ground stations, launch and pre-orbit operations, integrated logistics support, and associated engineering services.
