About
Space Structures supplies honeycomb sandwich panels in multiple material combinations, including aluminium facesheets with aluminium honeycomb core, GFRP facesheets with aluminium core, CFRP facesheets with aluminium core, and CFRP facesheets with CFRP honeycomb core, with NOMEX cores optionally offered. Inserts are available in aluminium, titanium, INVAR or CFRP in floating, face-to-face, edge or block types, with through-holes or threads including thread locking if required. Further customisation includes complete assemblies for satellite platform primary structures and optical payload primary structures, grounding paths and inserts, surface coating (anodising, surtec, black/white thermal paint, mirrors), surface-mounted or embedded heat pipes, and edge taping for debris and contamination control. Applications include high-performance satellite and launcher structures, optical benches, and sunshields.
