About

AST’s vehicle-mount (SNG) antennas use a carbon-fiber reflector for light weight, high strength and accuracy (RMS < 0.2mm), covering C, X, Ku and Ka bands with one-button satellite acquisition. An auto-deploy/auto-stow 'smart switch' completes positioning, deployment and satellite acquisition automatically, locking onto a satellite within about 3 minutes and supporting DVB-S1, DVB-S2, beacon and modem-based locking. Tracking accuracy is better than 0.3dB RMS, with three control modes (auto, motorized, manual) and motorized polarization adjustment. Options include a 1.2m offset antenna variant, auto control system, three-axis (Az/El/Pol) turntable, GPS/electrical compass, high-sensitivity beacon receiver, A-E rotary joint, step motor, and motorized polarization adjustment. The family covers 1.0m, 1.2m, 1.8m and 2.4m models, built for vehicle roof mounting.
