About

The E905 is Aitech’s compact 1/2 ATR space enclosure providing a self-contained, radiation-tolerant chassis for three-board 3U CompactPCI computing systems. Its cold-plate conduction cooling system efficiently transfers heat from boards to the spacecraft thermal control system without requiring active cooling components. The integrated power supply accepts 28 Vdc input with greater than 80% efficiency and provides radiation-tolerant, latch-up immune operation to beyond 25 krad (Si) TID and 37 MeV-cm²/mg latch-up threshold.

The enclosure’s Faraday cage construction provides EMI/RFI shielding for both emissions containment and susceptibility protection, complemented by complete EMI/RFI power line filtering on the 28V input. The customizable front panel accommodates mission-specific connector configurations via a PWB-based I/O transition module design that reduces wiring harness complexity.

The E905 is designed as a turnkey enclosure for Aitech’s SP0-S SBC combined with one or two PMC I/O modules, providing a complete command and data handling subsystem in a compact, space-qualified package.
