About
The E900 is Aitech’s largest capacity space enclosure, providing an 8-slot 3U CompactPCI backplane in a cold-plate conduction-cooled chassis designed for high-density space computing applications. Dual 28V/140W radiation-tolerant, latch-up immune power supplies deliver standard CompactPCI bus voltages plus ±15 VDC and a dedicated +12 VDC output for powering external equipment, with built-in redundancy for fault-tolerant power management.
The enclosure supports up to 9 high-speed I/O interfaces, tested to 400 Mbps aggregate throughput, enabling high-bandwidth data path designs for Earth observation, communications, and science payload applications. No wire harnesses are required between the backplane and front panel; I/O routing is handled through the board-level transition modules, reducing integration complexity and improving reliability.
Engineered to meet LEO radiation requirements, the E900 serves as the chassis for complete spacecraft computing subsystems integrating Aitech SBCs with multiple I/O, memory, and communications boards.
