About
The CM950 is a radiation-tolerant PMC carrier card that enables the SP0-S single-board computer and hosted PMC I/O modules to connect directly to the 3U CompactPCI backplane without complex harnessing. It accommodates single-wide conduction-cooled PMC modules in a single-slot form factor, providing full PMC master arbitration support for bus master operations.
All PMC I/O signals are routed directly to the CompactPCI J2 connector for backplane distribution, enabling clean signal paths from the hosted PMC module to the system backplane without intermediate cabling. Power consumption is less than 2 watts. Two radiation tolerance grades are available: the standard configuration is rated at 45 krad (Si) unshielded total ionizing dose (flight model); an optional 100 krad version is available for higher-radiation environments including MEO and GEO.
