About
ScienceTaxi is Yuri’s autonomous, temperature-controlled space incubator/laboratory. Built to ISS SSP 57000-based interfaces, it hosts up to 38 experiment units (ScienceShells) and requires no crew interaction during operation. It is designed for orbital platforms such as Dream Chaser and Dragon, but also supports suborbital or parabolic flights, and can run independently from the ISS. An onboard centrifuge option can host up to 16 ScienceShells at variable gravity levels from 0G to 1G (Earth, Moon, Mars gravity), enabling comparative gravitational biology studies. ScienceTaxi provides real-time housekeeping data monitoring and commanding, and is compatible with third-party ISS facility providers including Space Tango, Bioserve, LaMont, ICE Cubes, and Kayser Italia.
