About
The VST-68M star tracker performs autonomous spacecraft attitude measurement relative to the celestial reference system J2000. It uses a high-quality Leica lens system, a 1024×1024 pixel radiation-hardened CMOS sensor and a 75 mm focal length, guaranteeing at least 16 visible stars independent of current attitude. The optical head with lens and baffle is paired with processing electronics containing an onboard star catalogue, making the VST-68M suitable for LEO, GEO and even interplanetary missions.
