About
The VST-41M star tracker delivers autonomous spacecraft attitude measurement relative to the inertially fixed celestial reference system. It contains a 512×512 pixel radiation-hardened CMOS sensor with a 50 mm focal length, guaranteeing at least 10 visible stars independent of current attitude. The unit comprises an optical head with lens and baffle plus processing electronics with an onboard star catalogue, and is qualified for LEO, GEO and interplanetary missions.
