Umbra’s Spotlight mode is the company’s flagship SAR imagery product, offering the highest resolution commercial radar imagery on the market. Umbra is the only provider delivering true 25 cm ground-projected resolution data, enabled by a category-leading 1200 MHz bandwidth — up to 2.5x more bandwidth than other SAR providers — for superior signal-to-noise ratio and spatial resolution. Customers can select scene sizes from 5×5 km up to a 10×14 km natural footprint, choose resolutions from 25 cm to 1 m, and multi-look images up to 10x for enhanced detail and reduced speckle. Products are delivered as GeoTIFF, SICD, and metadata JSON, with CPHD available on request. Umbra can collect up to 7x more spotlight data per pass than competitors, supporting dense tasking in small areas for defense, intelligence, and commercial geospatial analysis.
