About
Umbra’s Dwell mode leverages the satellite’s unique agility to squint forwards and backwards, enabling extremely long, focused measurements over a target area. Extended data collection minimizes speckle in SAR images, yielding a clear, low-noise data product ideal for characterizing ground vehicle formations, metal in tree lines, and vessels in port. Dwell is available as a noise-reduced enhanced-detail GeoTIFF, a Color Sub-Aperture Image (CSI) product that highlights man-made objects for improved clarity in dense environments, and SAR video up to 25 seconds long for analyzing vehicle heading and speed. All products are delivered as Cloud Optimized GeoTIFFs.
