About
The Umbra Body-Steered Deployable Solar Array delivers more than 120 W of reliable power in a compact, flight-proven tri-fold design for small satellites. Optimized for body-steering in Low Earth Orbit, the array features high dynamic stability and redundant, premium triple-junction solar cells with bypass diodes. Validated on Falcon 9 missions and designed for seamless integration within the Umbra Integrated System (including the Umbra Power Package), the array eliminates the need for a dedicated solar array drive, reducing mass and complexity.
