About
The Umbra Reaction Wheel delivers precise and reliable attitude control for small satellites with a focus on responsible space debris mitigation. Engineered for complete demisability upon atmospheric re-entry per NASA-STD-8719.14C, this reaction wheel offers more than 2 Nms of momentum and high torque in a compact, lightweight package. It features redundant Hall Effect control and ABEC 7 ceramic angular contact bearings for reliability, and integrates via RS-485 communication with any GNC system, including Umbra’s own fully integrated GNC solution.
