About
QUPES is a dedicated software tool for the analysis and design of quasi-periodic surfaces such as reflectarrays, frequency selective surfaces (FSS), and transmitarrays. Starting from the definition and design of the unit cell geometry through to optimisation of the entire finite-sized structure, QUPES provides the needed capabilities to design a periodic/quasi-periodic surface in a single tool, avoiding the need for multiple software packages. A built-in library of commonly used periodic unit cell geometries makes it easy to define unit cells, and TICRA Tools’ optimisation capabilities allow users to optimise geometries to fulfil reflection/transmission properties. Its capability to optimise entire quasi-periodic surfaces directly for final radiation-pattern goals is a unique, enabling technology not available in other commercial software.
