About
Single, dual and multiple reflector systems can be shaped in POS to achieve contoured beams, with shapes defined via built-in templates in TICRA Tools or by importing station files from SATSOFT. POS provides efficient algorithms for analysis and optimisation of arrays, supporting dense and sparse arrays with identical or unique elements, including elements modelled in CHAMP 3D or ESTEAM, with simultaneous optimisation of elements and excitation coefficients. Array-fed reflectors can be optimised in terms of reflector shape, array geometry, and excitation coefficients, including optimisation across multiple reflector shapes for best performance under multiple thermal conditions. Manufacturing-imposed surface curvature constraints and payload-envelope displacement constraints can be included in the optimisation. POS is integrated in TICRA Tools, making it easy to combine with other TICRA products in daily workflows.
