About
COBRA-UHPX is the ultra-high-precision configuration of TUI’s COBRA gimbal family, a space-qualified, 3-DOF pointing mechanism based on the Canfield Joint carpal-wrist design. It delivers full-hemisphere, singularity-free pointing without slip rings or cable wrap, using a precision parallel-linkage joint system, scaled up in this configuration for higher precision and higher torque applications than COBRA-HPX.
