About
Rapidtek manufactures a family of X-Band patch antenna arrays for CubeSat high-speed data downlink in the 8.025–8.4 GHz band. Three configurations are available: the 2×2 array (12.4 dBiC, 34° HPBW, 21.5 g), the 4×4 array (16.1 dBiC, 17.8° HPBW, 54 g), and the 4×8 array (19.2 dBiC, 8.7° HPBW on the narrow axis, 128 g). All variants use RHCP polarization with axial ratio <3 dB and are rated for 5W CW. The arrays provide the high directional gain needed for X-band data downlink from LEO CubeSats.
