About
The Nightjar is Rapidtek Technologies’ first in-orbit CubeSat, a 3U form factor satellite launched into Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO) in August 2024 in collaboration with the Taiwan Space Agency (TASA). The Nightjar demonstrates bidirectional Ku-band satellite communications with a data rate of 32 Mbps and support for more than 16 simultaneous users, validating Rapidtek’s satellite communication payload technology for commercial LEO constellation deployment.
