About
Rapidtek’s K/Ka-Band Communication Payload (CPL) is an integrated satellite payload combining a Software-Defined Radio (SDR) with a full RF front-end assembly including up/down converters, a power amplifier (PA), and a low-noise amplifier (LNA). The payload supports bi-directional Tx/Rx operation and is designed for LEO CubeSat deployment. The frequency band is configurable across S/X/Ku/K/Ka as needed by the mission. This payload forms the communication core of Rapidtek’s Nightjar and Black Kite satellite missions, enabling high-throughput bidirectional satellite data links.
