About
The Solar Panel Clips Set is flight hardware from Pumpkin, Inc., described by Pumpkin as flight qualified and space proven. A set of 8 solar panel clips provides an extremely low-mass and low-volume means of attaching up to six solar panels to the six faces of a Pumpkin CubeSat Kit (CSK) solid-wall or skeletonized structure. Each clip replaces a shim that would otherwise sit underneath each foot of a Base Plate Assembly or Cover Plate Assembly, saving mass and simplifying panel installation.
Clips are available in two thickness options to match the customer’s solar panel substrate: 0.062″/1.6mm and 0.031″/0.8mm. The product is sold as a set of 8 clips, sufficient to secure panels across the CubeSat structure’s mounting feet. It is intended for use with Pumpkin’s CubeSat Kit line of structures and solar panels.
