About
The Pumpkin EPSM1 is a high-power, multi-channel Electrical Power System Module designed for space applications. It accepts up to 6 solar array input channels with individual MPPT at 250 kHz, each rated for up to 4A at 28V maximum, supporting a total input of up to 480W. Two battery ports support 16.8V Li-Ion batteries with CC/CV charging up to 6A (112W reserve per battery).
Output rails are configurable: 3.3V/5A, 5V/5A, 12V/8A, and 28V/8A with approximately 300W total output. Power conversion efficiency exceeds 99%. Temperature is monitored on 3 internal and 8 external channels. The control logic uses an SEU-immune FPGA paired with a SupMCU co-processor, commanded via SCPI over I2C. The module integrates with the 104-pin CubeSat Kit bus.
