A precision aluminum bracket used in 1.5U/2U/3U CubeSat Kit structures to support and guide the Remove-Before-Flight pin, power connector and USB connector when the Motherboard Module is mounted away from the Base Plate.

About
Precision constructed from Al 5052-H32 and plated according to the CubeSat Design Specification (CDS), this bracket is used in CubeSat Kit™ structures that utilize Chassis Walls of 1.5U, 2U and 3U size and locate the Motherboard Module (MBM) in a location other than on the Base Plate Assembly — i.e., “higher up” in the chassis.
The RBF Bracket attaches to the MBM via the same screws that hold the RBF (Remove-Before-Flight) switch in place. It guides the RBF pin into place and provides physical support to the external power connector and USB device connector. The bracket is secured to the Chassis Walls via two external M3 screws, installed after all of the CubeSat Kit™’s other structural elements have been connected.
As Flight Hardware, it is Flight Qualified and Space Proven.
