The CubeSat Kit Large Aperture Base Plate Assembly, Dual Switch, is Pumpkin flight hardware, described as flight qualified and space proven. It is typically used on the end of the CubeSat Kit structure that houses the Motherboard Module (MBM) C&DH subsystem. The assembly is precision constructed from Al 5052-H32 aluminum and plated according to the CubeSat Design Specification (CDS). Each Large Aperture Base Plate Assembly is secured to the Chassis Walls via six M3 flathead stainless-steel screws. As a “dual switch” variant, it incorporates two deployment/separation switch positions integrated into the base plate.
