CubeSat Kit Upgrade to C8051

This software and hardware upgrade package contains all of the Silicon Labs C8051F120-specific components included in a CubeSat Kit. It is intended for CubeSat Kit customers who purchased a Kit with another processor family and wish to also develop with the C8051F120 MCU while reusing their existing Development Board (DB) and other kit infrastructure. Pumpkin classifies the product as Development Hardware, Development Software, Flight Hardware, Flight Qualified, and Space Proven.

The upgrade includes these processor-specific components: a Pluggable Socketed Processor Module B (PSPM B) with C8051F120, a Pluggable Processor Module B1 (PPM B1), a JFPC-C8051 Programming Adapter, a Silicon Labs USB Debug Adapter, Salvo Pro for the 8051 family, 8051 CubeSat Kit Software, and the HCC-Embedded C8051 EFFS-THIN SD Card Library for the CubeSat Kit.

The upgrade is compatible only with Keil’s PK51 Professional Developer’s Kit toolchain from Keil/ARM; no other 8051 toolchains are supported, and customers must purchase Keil PK51 separately (educational discounts may be available from Keil/ARM). This upgrade otherwise has the same compatibility as the CubeSat Kit /C8051. It is available only to customers who have already purchased a CubeSat Kit; proof of a prior CubeSat Kit purchase is required.
