About
The Cover Plate Assembly for AntS Antenna forms one end of a CubeSat Kit™ structure — typically the end opposite that with the Motherboard Module (MBM) C&DH subsystem. This version of the Cover Plate is made specifically to accommodate the third-party AntS deployable antenna system.
The AntS antenna module is secured to this cover plate with four threaded fasteners. This cover plate has dual, independent separation switches; each separation switch provides C, NC and NO solder terminals, with the second switch located on a corner diagonally opposite the first, providing redundant deployment sensing per the CubeSat Design Specification.
As Flight Hardware, it is Flight Qualified and Space Proven.
