About
Orbital Systems ground stations include a complete complex for receiving, processing, and storing mission data. The stations provide bidirectional capability to transmit commands to CubeSat small satellites and receive mission data, supporting multi-frequency operations.
The company takes an integrated approach covering installation, commissioning, and training of ground station operators. To date, the team has constructed and commissioned 7 ground stations for controlling CubeSat small satellites across Russia and Kazakhstan.
Deployment locations include: BGTU “Voenmeh” (St. Petersburg), Kazan, Ryazan, Samara (two installations), Astana (Kazakhstan), and Karaganda (Kazakhstan). Each station is configured for real-time command uplink and telemetry/payload data downlink for the supported CubeSat missions.
The service includes technical consulting, laboratory setup support, and space engineering training programs for universities and research institutions.
