About
The 6U platform is now becoming the standard format for CubeSat small satellite missions needing to host multiple payloads simultaneously. Additionally, for missions requiring additional performance, service life, and payload volume, the 6U CubeSat platforms are the ideal choice for both commercial and government customers.
The platform provides 4U of payload volume with up to 75 W peak power for the payload unit, and supports a maximum payload mass of 7.5 kg. Extended interfaces include I2C, UART, CAN, SPI, 100BASE-TX Ethernet port, and RS422. Communication modules support X/S/VHF/UHF bands with 8 Gb onboard memory.
Flight heritage: first launched in 2020. System consumption is 6 W, platform mass 4.5 kg. Designed for a 3.5-year active service life.
