Leaf Hosting — Ground Station Co-Location

Leaf Hosting is Leaf Space’s infrastructure co-location service for satellite operators who wish to own and operate their own ground station hardware but need secure, power-equipped, and connected sites to host it. Rather than sourcing and permitting land independently, operators leverage Leaf Space’s established site portfolio to rapidly deploy their own antennas and modems within a ready-made ground station environment.

Each Leaf Hosting site provides secured land access, stable mains power supply with appropriate backup provisions, internet connectivity for data backhaul, and regulatory compliance with local telecommunications authorities — all components that typically represent the longest lead-time elements in a new ground station deployment. Leaf Space’s team handles first-level on-site maintenance (visual inspection, cable checks, unit swaps for Line Replaceable Units), reducing the need for operators to station their own personnel at remote sites.

Leaf Hosting is available at any Leaf Space site across the 19-location global network and is particularly well-suited for operators deploying X-band, Ka-band, or proprietary-frequency antennas not served by the standard Leaf Line or Leaf Key offerings, or who require fully sovereign control over their ground hardware. It can be combined with Leaf Key or Leaf Line services to create a comprehensive, multi-tier ground segment tailored to mission requirements.
