Emission Analytics is GHGSat’s precision emissions intelligence service that analyzes trends and emission patterns to better inform business decisions, streamline operations and uncover mitigation opportunities. It combines GHGSat’s high-resolution satellite and airborne emissions data with third-party datasets and advanced machine learning algorithms to deliver actionable intelligence across three pillars: KNOW (access key emissions metrics and indicators around target facilities for faster decision-making), PREDICT (analyze patterns leading up to emissions and anticipate higher-risk locations using advanced algorithms), and ACT (plan monitoring strategies and prioritize leak detection and repair (LDAR) activities based on emissions risk indices).
Data layers are accessible on SPECTRA, GHGSat’s easy-to-navigate client platform built on ESRI GIS technology, and are available via flexible subscription plans by geographic zone, enabling organizations to rapidly gather and assess methane emissions intelligence across all their onshore assets. Four core analytics data layers are offered: Concentration Data (methane concentration values over selected zones, updated weekly at a 0.025° x 0.025° grid, approximately 2km x 2km), Hotspots Data (areas of unexpectedly high methane concentration requiring further attention), Flare Data (site-specific gas flaring activity for emissions monitoring and reporting), and Prediction Data (areas at high risk of emissions, enabling proactive monitoring planning).
