About
DragonEye is a high-resolution imager for microsatellites with radiation-resistant optics and low thermal expansion. It delivers detailed Earth imagery in panchromatic mode, nearly doubling the angular field of view over conventional systems while avoiding the complexity and loss of spatial resolution associated with large apertures. The Cassegrain system and chromatic two-lens corrector provide a wide field of view and reduce sensitivity to de-centring, making it well-suited for high-performance satellite imaging. Two DragonEye imagers have been launched, in 2023.
