About SpaceBridge Inc.

SpaceBridge Inc., founded in 1988 as Advantech Wireless, is a Montreal-based satellite communications equipment and managed-services provider with over 30 years of engineering heritage. SpaceBridge Semiconductor was acquired by Advantech AMT in 2005, and in 2006 Advantech acquired the Satellite Network division of EMS Technologies; the combined business was rebranded SpaceBridge Inc. in November 2018 under CEO David Gelerman.

The company designs, manufactures and sells VSAT hubs, gateways, terminals, SCPC/MCPC modems, transceivers, antennas and RF BUC amplifiers for GEO, MEO, LEO and NGSO networks, ISO 9001-certified and DVB-RCS2 / MIL-STD-188-164C compliant. Key product lines include the ASAT platform with WaveSwitch, the ESTELLA HUB/NMS, and the compact UniHUB VSAT hub. Target verticals are cellular backhaul, industrial IoT/SCADA, satcom-on-the-move, broadcasting, enterprise broadband and defense/government.

Notable projects include a 2024 deployment with Telcoven for Chile's Ministry of Defense and a 2025 managed-services partnership with satellite operator ABS covering EMEA. SpaceBridge operates through offices in Canada, the United States, Brazil, Colombia, Hong Kong and Indonesia, plus EMEA and Africa representation.
