About
The SBM-90X is a 19-inch rack-mountable, telco-grade satellite modem built around an Active LCD front panel for streamlined setup and monitoring. It operates over GEO, LEO, and MEO satellite links using DVB-S2/S2X with Adaptive Coding and Modulation to maximize spectral efficiency, and supports Layer-2 transparent transport with Layer-3 DSCP QoS for prioritized traffic handling. Designed for hub-less point-to-point and point-to-multipoint SCPC/MCPC topologies, it delivers up to 1.47 Gbps aggregate (723 Mbps symmetric) throughput and over 1 million pps (2M pps total), with Ethernet Jumbo frame support and Software Defined Network compatibility. Typical use cases include broadband internet trunks, 3G/4G/LTE/5G cellular backhaul, disaster recovery, surveillance/defense links, video contribution, and fiber backup.
