About this service
Space Cloud Services is D-Orbit’s on-orbit edge-computing platform: customer software is deployed as virtualized containers to ION carriers in flight, enabling AI-accelerated processing of payload data directly in orbit. The platform supports the standard Linux toolchain plus TensorFlow and PyTorch, lowering the barrier to deploying ML workloads in space.
Use cases include software-in-orbit demonstration (raise the TRL of flight-software without funding a dedicated bus) and intelligence logistics (on-orbit data triage and pre-processing to minimize downlink volume).
