About
The Claymore is a modular 6P PocketQube deployer, named after the famous Scottish sword, designed to give satellite teams a legendary launch story. It is capable of dispensing up to 6P worth of PocketQube pico satellites and supports 1P, 1.5P, 2P and 3P PocketQube configurations within the same deployer. The Claymore uses flight-proven release mechanisms, and its interfaces meet the PocketQube mechanical interface standard, of which Wyrm Engineering’s founder is a co-author. Its modular design can be adapted to accommodate different release mechanisms, custom configurations, and demonstrator missions for new hardware seeking flight heritage. The deployer is designed and built in the Netherlands with a European-based supply chain, and is currently undergoing environmental testing; mechanical and electrical ICDs will become available at a later date.
