About
The NSR-SDR-X/S is a fully integrated, full-duplex software-defined radio transponder operating on X-band, designed for LEO, GTO, and cislunar/lunar missions requiring high-rate data return.
Downlink and uplink speeds range from low Mbps up to greater than 500 Mbps using DVB-S2 with variable modulation and coding. It provides 5 W of variable SSPA RF output power and supports on-orbit reprogramming and coherent turnaround.
Security is provided through embedded software-based encryption, with an optional integrated TSAB (Type-1) encryption module. The radio interoperates with ground networks including AWS Ground Station, SSC, KSAT, Atlas Space, MC3, CCSDS, NASA NEN, and SCN.
