About
The NSR-SDR-MUOS is a MUOS (Mobile User Objective System) functional terminal that is fully integrated for full-duplex MUOS and legacy UHF SATCOM waveforms, targeting space and airborne platforms that require secure military communications.
Packaged in a form factor under 1/2U CubeSat, it supports both half-duplex and full-duplex operation, integrates GPS, and provides spread-spectrum, anti-jam MUOS as well as legacy UHF SATCOM waveform support. The radio is software-defined with on-orbit reprogrammability and a 5-year design life.
It is intended for M2M communications for UAVs and LEO space vehicles, and for direct-to-warfighter communications, secured with NSA TYPE-1 encryption.
