About
The SPUTNIX UHF transceiver is designed to provide communication between a spacecraft and a ground control center for receiving commands, transmitting telemetry information (including configurable beacons), or other information. It is optimized to work at low bitrates in UHF bands (amateur or commercial, depending on ordering option). The transceiver works as a UniCAN router, allowing seamless information exchange between onboard devices and the ground station. There is flash memory with a file system for user data storage, with file download/upload via the UniCAN file transfer protocol. The transceiver also works as an onboard time-keeping unit with precision timebase and backup power, and can run UniCAN commands in an executable schedule mode, implementing onboard control unit features. The SXC-UHF-02 transceiver is a PC/104 stackable PCB with an SMA antenna connector and auxiliary antenna deployment interface.
