About
The Magnetic torquers control unit (MTCU) is used in the ADCS circuit to unload the flywheels, realizing the law of damping of the angular velocity using measurements from a magnetometer or inertial measuring module. It is SPUTNIX’s own development, ECSS-compatible, low cost, light weight, low power, adapted to customer requirements, with unified interfaces. Notably, the device can independently implement stabilization system algorithms, and it allows connecting up to three magnetic actuators from the SX-MT line, all independently controlled.
