About
The PST3S-H5 is a compact, lightweight star tracker developed by TY-Space for satellite attitude determination, combining a small refractive optical design with a sensor+baffle assembly measuring 35.5×35.5×134 mm3 and a mass of only 130g, suiting small satellites and CubeSat-class missions. It delivers high-precision attitude data with pointing accuracy better than 3 arcsec (3-sigma) and rolling accuracy better than 30 arcsec (3-sigma), an effective field of view of 15×18 degrees, and a 10 Hz update rate, tolerating dynamic rates up to 3 deg/s. It is qualified for vibration loads (sine/random) and radiation exposure of 50 Krad [Si], operating across -40C to 40C. It communicates via RS422/CAN, consumes just 1W from a 5V input, and has a 5-year rated lifetime. Notably, the product can operate normally under stray light conditions and can be customized for various mission-specific requirements.
