About
TY-Space’s Optical Star Pattern Simulator (OSPS) is a simple static star simulator designed for testing the function and performance of star trackers. It is well suited to environmental experiments such as thermal vacuum and thermal cycling testing, and is also used for star tracker polarity and data stability testing. It provides a stable simulated star field (based on the North Pole sky area, or a customized region) via a collimating optical system with LED illumination, and features tri-axial (X, Y, Z) adjustability.
