About
Upgraded from NST10-G1, NST20-G2 is a fully autonomous, highly reliable, precision (3 arcsec [3sigma]), high-dynamic attitude star tracker with a dynamic performance of 20 deg/s. The secondary baffle ensures the star tracker works well at a Sun Exclusive Angle of 25 degrees. It measures 90x100x268 mm3, weighs 1200g, uses a refractive optical lens design, and is rated for 100 Krad [Si] radiation resistance. It operates over -30 to 50C, communicates over RS422/CAN, runs on 28V input at 4W power consumption, and has a rated life time of 7 years.
