About
TY-Space’s Dynamic Star Simulator (DSS-14) is used for function and performance testing of star trackers. It generates a dynamic simulated star field with adjustable magnitude range and update rate, allowing thorough characterization of a star tracker’s accuracy, tracking, and response performance. It can be matched to other manufacturers’ star trackers using a customized adaptor, and offers tri-axial (X, Y, Z) adjustability to support flexible test configurations. Note: on the source page, the working-temperature and axis-adjustability values appear under mislabeled row headers (‘Dimension’ and ‘Thermal’); the values are reproduced verbatim here.
