About
The SSW-110 is SSTL’s LEO reaction wheel, available in two bearing variants: OLX-1500 with steel bearings and NLX-1500 with ceramic bearings. It provides 1.5Nms of angular momentum at up to ±5000rpm, weighs 2.6kg, and measures Ø128 x 124mm. Designed for a 7.5-year life (rated for over 5 billion revolutions), it operates on a 24.1-35V DC supply with CAN or RS422 interfaces. Over 40 flight units have been in orbit since 2014.
