About
The SSTL SSW-110 reaction wheel has been used on numerous SSTL missions since 2014 and has also been purchased by external customers for their own spacecraft, with more than 40 flight units in orbit. It offers fully integrated electronics, a hermetically sealed mechanism, and both current and speed control modes, with a single connector for communications and power, regenerated power return to the spacecraft bus, and CAN bus or RS422 communications. Two model variants are available: SSW-110-OLX-1500 (oil lubricated steel bearings) and SSW-110-NLX-1500 (oil lubricated hybrid ceramic bearings).
