About
SSTL-MICRO is a highly capable microsatellite platform built on SSTL’s Core Avionics suite, offering strong payload power, mass carrying capability and redundancy. It provides excellent power provision via a high capacity battery enabling continuous payload operation, and is offered as a ‘platform-to-go’ with customer-provided payload or a fully integrated SSTL/off-the-shelf/custom payload. Suitable payloads include Earth imaging, software defined radio, science and atmospheric observation, LEO telecoms, technology demonstration, radiation monitoring and AIS. The platform has dual redundant core avionics and AOCS, a validated system FDIR, and capable propulsion options, and is compatible with Viasat Real Time Earth ground station networks.
