About
SSTL-Precision is a very high resolution optical Earth observation satellite delivering imagery for customers needing clarity, reliability and cost-efficient data. Its imager uses half-pixel offset sampling and enhanced panchromatic processing to boost effective spatial sampling to 0.3m from a native PAN GSD of 0.6m. It incorporates redundancy and cross-strapped subsystems to eliminate credible single-point failures. Precision is offered as a turnkey end-to-end solution combining the spacecraft with mission operations, mission planning tools, launch and insurance, and image processing chain, serving government users (national security, border awareness, strategic intelligence) and commercial users (mapping, surveillance, infrastructure/asset monitoring, disaster response, insurance and environmental monitoring), either as a single asset or in a constellation for higher revisit rates.
