About
RD-1 is a liquid-propellant rocket engine developed by SR Space, built according to an open-cycle layout and burning oxygen and methane. The engine is designed to be reused across several missions. Nine RD-1 engines power the first stage of the Stalker launch vehicle, and a single RD-1 powers the Nebo suborbital rocket. SR Space describes its RD engine family as built in accordance with open-source design principles.
